There's certainly no shortage of variations on the tried-and-true Mercedes-Benz C-Class, but the brand is about to add one more flavor to the board with the introduction of the Mercedes-Benz C350 Plug-in Hybrid.

The green-driving sport sedan will offer luxury-car fans another great choice for traveling fuel-efficiently with its harmonious blend of turbocharged, four-cylinder power and an eco-minded electric motor. The term "hybrid" often connotes sacrificing something for the sake of fuel ratings, but the German automaker has engineered this premier C-Class variant to maintain the characteristic sportiness of the lineup by having the C350 Plug-in Hybrid churn out upwards of 275 horsepower. That doesn't sound like a compromise to us -- more like a win-win-win for Mother Nature, lead-footed drivers and their wallets.

This new model will be making its public debut at this week's Detroit Auto Show, so be sure to check back in with our blog and the sales staff here at Courtesy Motors Auto Center, Inc. in Chico, CA for more information.
